HANDMADE CONCRETE HOMEWARE

I have always loved interior design and interior decor, but the initial intrigue with concrete stemmed from a Christmas present I bought my mother years ago. It was a very big and very heavy concrete fruit bowl. I loved it so much that I decided to try and make one myself, and that's where it began.

I started making concrete fruit bowls for friends & family, but it wasn't until Summer 2020 when I lost my former job at Soho House Design due to COVID, that I decided to make my side hustle into a full-time business.

And so became CONK. The name 'Conk' is short for concrete, which is the most successful thing to come from a wine-fuelled evening at home with my cousin.

Having recently moved out of London, I now hand make every Conk from my studio in Brighton with the help of my naughty whippet, Willa.

As with any handmade item, no two Conks are exactly the same - like us, every Conk has it's own imperfections and differences, making them even more unique to you.
